Saturday night was the hottest day in Texas so far for me and I’d like to think that ZZ Top at Whitewater Ampitheater had a hand in it. My Summer concert series started out with great success and it was time to follow up the beats with some classic rocking sauce. Billy Gibbons and company did not disappoint. The Summer Concert Series kicked off last Thursday with a set from the Beat Connection over at Red 7. The opening acts were on the level but it was Beat Connection who had us dancing by the end of the night. Red 7 was a new venue for me and they had some interesting choices for service. Welp I’m done punching up my web host so new I have some time to rest my knuckles and give my fingertips some work. I’ve been here actually. Doing lots of things as well. As you may see from above, I’ve been ultra busy. Never fear, however, I’ll clue you in either here or on they ole personal blog. You may be wondering, “What are those things?” Welp, it’s a card with a band on it. Duh. Oh you mean the other things. Let’s just say I now know what kind of buzz you can get from solder fumes. So look for that and maybe another song or tow here in the next week or so.
